Seeing as how its the same chassis as the cherokee, why not just drop the 3.2 with the decoupling AWD system and 9 speed in it? I'm more inclined for a manual, but the 9 speed is a fast shifter and the dart needs displacement to move its fat ass.

I would buy a 3.2L Dart in a heartbeat even if it was only FWD I'd still be all for it. The dart is a nice size car and with a bit more oumff it would be the perfect commuter.
